LOD is hiring
LOD is looking for candidates for participation in an environmental odour assessment project in the municipalities of Montebello Vicentino and Zermeghedo (Province of Vicenza).
Candidates will undergo a selection process to assess their olfactory sensitivity, followed by training in the field for the recognition of odours produced by production activities in the area.
The selection includes a final test to verify the candidates' ability to evaluate and discriminate environmental odours.
Candidates must give their willingness to carry out inspections in the territory of the municipalities of Montebello Vicentino and Zermeghedo, on the required dates and times, following predetermined routes and stopping at fixed locations, where they will have to smell the air at intervals and fill in a form with the odour measurements.
Availability is required in the months of November, December and January in the dates and times communicated afterwards.
Candidates' requirements:
- age over 18 years;
- availability of own car (or bicycle) for travel;
- absence of respiratory diseases (asthma, allergies, etc.).
At the end of the three months of the project, each candidate will be paid a fee for the inspections carried out.

Applicants must also make themselves available for the entire days of 18, 20 and 22 November 2019 for the appropriate selections to be carried out at the LOD olfactometric laboratory in Udine.
