For the fifth consecutive year, we have renewed our support for NanoValbruna, the international event held in Friuli that fosters dialogue among young people, scientists, and entrepreneurs on the challenges of innovation, the environment, and regeneration. In the 2024 edition, LOD (Laboratorio di Olfattometria Dinamica) and Gruppo Luci had the privilege of supporting this important initiative.

This prestigious international forum, now in its fifth edition, took place from July 18 to 24 in Valbruna, in the heart of the Julian Alps, and is organized by Regeneration Hub Friuli, the social promotion association of "young protagonists of their future."

A platform for debate and dialogue on Regeneration and Sustainability

NanoValbruna brings together young people, scientists, entrepreneurs, and journalists from around the world to discuss and tackle global challenges from a local perspective. This year's theme, "Think Global, Act Local," perfectly reflects the event's mission: to explore new solutions and pathways for a sustainable and regenerative future.

A unique experience in the heart of the Alpi Giulie

NanoValbruna is not just a discussion forum but also an immersive experience amidst the natural beauty of the Julian Alps.

Participants were able to engage in educational workshops, scientific labs for children, and sustainable tourism activities. This stimulating environment was the perfect place to gather insights, imagine dreams, and develop visions for the future.

"Baite Award": the Contest celebrating the ingenuity of young researchers worldwide

During NanoValbruna, Adriano Luci, President of Gruppo Luci, had the privilege of serving as a jury member for the "Baite Award" Contest.

This competition is dedicated to selecting innovative solutions proposed by young researchers and students from around the world, with the aim of having a positive impact in the following areas: construction, agroecology and climate technologies, industry and social responsibility, transport, and energy.

Gruppo Luci and LOD are proud to be part of this extraordinary initiative, convinced that only through collaboration and dialogue can we build a sustainable and regenerative future for new generations.
